What do we do here at the Richmond Rock Room?
People often ask us that—and the answer is simple:
Our mission is to make live music accessible and affordable for all ages, at least once a month. If you would like to donate to our cause to go towards equipment, operations, snacks and drinks please donate at the link below or give us a call at 586-318-9502 or email at booking@richmondrockroom.com. We are also looking for seasoned mentors to volunteer and use the room for free clinics or meet and greets with some of the young musicians, parents and locals.
For the Youth:
We don’t offer memberships or music lessons. Instead, we offer inspiration—real stage experience in front of a live audience, guidance from seasoned musicians, and valuable exposure. We create public events with tickets, promotions and all the bells and whistles of being showcased in front of a live audience. It’s all about sparking passion through real-world opportunities.
For the Community: This is a non-profit organization registered with the state of Michigan, run with heart by George Neal and wife Shelly Neal. They rely on local musicians and bands who believe in paying it forward to help us keep the music alive and any donations to the cause. Thanks to The Richmond Rock Room and Ed Amyot they have a place that we can share the passion for live music with the next generation.
